While all absences matter, research shows that missing school in the spring can be even more harmful because lessons build on what students learn earlier in the year.

Cumulative projects, tests, and end-of-year activities make this a critical time for students to stay engaged. Showing up—being here and being ready to learn—helps students finish strong!
