A Note from Dr. Erin Prince
|
Learning something new takes determination. Last week, I shared a video with our staff about resilience. In it, Dr. Becky Kennedy describes the space between not knowing and knowing as “The Learning Space.” We’ve all experienced that “messy middle,” and while it’s not always easy, it’s an essential part of learning.
As parents and caregivers, you play a key role in helping your child navigate their own learning space. Resilience grows when you encourage their efforts, celebrate their progress, and remind them that setbacks aren’t the finish line—they’re part of the journey.
Thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s learning!

Snow Make-up Days Reminder
|
We built eight make-up days into our 2024-25 district calendar. The board approved the use of February 14, March 7, June 18, and June 20 to replace the closures earlier this month (Feb. 3-6). Tuesday’s school closure (Feb. 25) is eligible to be made up on June 23. However, we are in the process of seeking a state waiver, which could result in an adjustment to our year-end calendar. We will share more information later this year. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Have you taken our annual climate survey?
|
We want to hear from you! Our annual climate survey is open now, and your feedback helps shape the future of our schools. Whether it’s about communication, school safety, or student support, your participation makes a powerful statement. The survey is open through tomorrow. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts now!

Attending school regularly helps students feel better about school—and themselves. By staying on track with attendance, we can help ensure that every student has the best chance to succeed in school and in life. Visit our Attendance Matters webpage for tips.

Report cards are available now!
|
Semester end report cards are now available through PowerSchool Parent Access! To access your student's report card, log in to PowerSchool and click the "Student Reports" link for a printable report. We recommend accessing PowerSchool from a desktop computer or tablet. Do not use the PowerSchool app when prompted on a smartphone.
